Lorena Cordoba is an Argentinian anthropologist, full-time researcher at CONICET (National Council for Scientific and Technical Research) and currently a Marie Curie Fellow (European Union) at Ca' Foscari University in Venice, Italy. She specializes in the ethnology and ethnohistory of the Bolivian Amazon and has carried out fieldwork among the Chacobo (Pano, Bolivian Amazonia), analyzing issues such as gender relations, kinship and social organization, and the historical relationship between the rubber boom and indigenous societies.
