Carmen Morawetz

Invited Researcher of DEA Programme Stay in France: from September 1st to October 14th, 2022

Following her strong passion for research and curiosity for neuroscience, Carmen Morawetz did her PhD in Psychology at the University of Goettingen (Germany). She then joined the Cluster of Excellence “Languages of Emotions” at the Biological Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience department at the Freie Universität Berlin as a PostDoc. After being awarded a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellowship to work at the Medical University of Vienna (Austria), she started as a full professor at the Institute of Psychology at the University of Innsbruck in Austria from 09/2020. Her key scientific contributions are in social, cognitive and affective neuroscience.

The project

Title: Affective Control in Addiction: Prediction of Emotional Reactivity and Emotion Regulation

Keywords: Neuroimaging; emotion; fMRI; neuroscience
