Winning project 2023 of the Louis Dumont Prize

The doctoral project focuses on the issue of organ transplants in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. The research studies the relationship between the cultural, social and political dimensions of transplants, from the angle of the relations between the two spaces and the societies inhabiting them. In particular, it aims to understand how the colonial context affects this practice and its representations, as well as subjects' access to this type of care.
