The Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme is organising an evening to present the new 2024 issue of Féminisme aux risques du sport from the journal Nouvelles questions féministes (43/1), to be published in May by Éditions Antipodes.

This Livres en dialogue session will bring together the authors of the book, Sigolène Couchot-Schiex, Christelle Hamel, Solène Froidevaux, and the feminist activist Camille Teste.

After the discussion, you will have the opportunity to ask our guest any questions you may have. The meeting will be followed by a moment of conviviality.

The Féminisme aux risques du sport issue

When the Olympic flame will lights up the skies over Paris for the 2024 Games, five generations of sportswomen will have had the right to take part in these symbolic events, a right won from the men who hold the keys to Games, to sports, to sporting movement and its many stakeholders. At the 1900 Paris Games, women were allowed to compete in just five sports for the first time, but for the 2024 Games, the Paris 2024 Organising Committee is committed to gender equality in sport.
