Honour Killing in Pakistan and India

Seminar with Dr. Soofia Mumtaz

Social Anthropologist, Directeur d’Eudes Associé (DEA) – FMSH. 

By looking at evidence from Pakistan and India, the talk will examine the frequency, nature, and motives behind honour killings in the two countries to determine whether honour killings in Pakistan are different in form and commission from those in neighbouring India with reference to religion.
