Speaker: François Gipouloux
François Gipouloux is director of research emeritus at the CNRS, he worked nearly 20 years in Asia (Beijing, Tokyo, Hong Kong) and was director of the laboratory "China, Korea, Japan" (CNRS-EHESS) from 2012 to 2015. He has coordinated several research projects for the European Community, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, the National Agency for Research and the National Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the CNRS. He directed the program of the 7th Framework Program of the European Union: "Sustainable urbanization in China - Historical and comparative perspectives, mega-trends towards 2050" (2011-2015).
