Giovanni Ciappelli
After a Honors Degree in Modern Letter (cum laude) at the University of Florence, a Master of Arts in History at the Brown University of Providence, RI (USA), and a Doctorate of Research in Medieval History at Universities from Florence, Bologna, and Rome La Sapienza, Giovanni Ciappelli was a researcher in Modern History at the University of Trento (1995), where since 2002 he has been Associate Professor of Modern History. In 2012 he won the Habilitation as Full Professor of Modern History. In addition to being a Fellow of the Warburg Institute and a Fellow of Villa I Tatti, he has also been a visiting professor at several universities in France and England since 2013.
